Oklahoma City

At the beginning of August, we had one last hoorah before school began. Papa and Maya took us to Oklahoma City for several days. We hit Frontier City first, where Noah was tall enough to ride on several grown-up roller coasters. He LOVED them! He would point to the biggest ride he could see and say, "I want to ride THAT one!" Unfortunately, he couldn't ride them all, but he was thrilled to ride those that he was tall enough for. I'm so excited I got a "roller coaster baby" just like I wanted! Of course, any child of mine has to like adventure!

On our second day in Oklahoma, we spent the day at the Science Museum. It was amazing! Pictures cannot do it justice, but rest-assured, this place was worth the trip alone. The sheer number of hands-on, discovery-oriented activities was mind-blowing!

pretty cool!

This mirror maze was such fun. Marco enjoyed finding the hiding places and scaring us.

one of our favorite spots - the large silver disc in the center was spinning around, and we enjoyed trying to get the small discs to stay upright for as long as possible and then watching them fly off

This room was so clever. It had one table with only Legos where you could build a racecar and then race it on the ramps. One table was nothing but plastic cups to stack/build, one with tons of tops, another with paper cups and plates to construct some sort of aircraft to toss into the wind tunnel. Here Noah is building something with PVC pipes.

Goofy people!

Thanks Papa and Maya for a fun trip! We love you guys!
