Twilight Dinner Party

The time finally arrived! This past weekend was the New Moon premiere and therefore, the Twilight Dinner Party I've been planning. It was so much fun to get together with all these fun and crazy girls to just be silly and have fun. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Here are some pics from the party.

The dinner table decor was based on the cover art from all four books of the Twilight Saga.

In the Kitchen with Grandmommy

My parents invited us over last night for dinner. Afterwards, Noah and Grandmommy made popcorn balls. Noah helped scoop, stir and make a mess. He also helped roll them into balls in the end. A few he decided to turn into popcorn pancakes. His grandparents even let him raid their spice cabinet and truly make his own creation. I proudly admit that I (being the wonderful mom that I am) did taste his creation. It had a nice salty cinnamon flavor. :) Thanks for the fun Grandmommy and Granddaddy!

Fall Carnivals

I took off of work on Friday so I could go with Noah to his school's Fall carnival. I'm so glad that I did. It was fun, memorable and great getting to see him with his friends. It was definately a crazy day, but of course, I felt right at home. I was fresh off a crazy Halloween-induced high with my kindergartners the day before. I really wish all those politicians would come spend an entire day or hey, how about a week, in an early childhood classroom before they decide on funding, classroom size, etc. Education would definately look differently if people that really knew what was going on were making the decisions. Anyway, it was a great day, and I even tucked back a few fun ideas for my kindergartners next year.Noah and his best school buddy, Jackson

My Noah - what a treat!

There were sequins and glitter ALL OVER THAT ROOM! I'm positive that there were at least $40 worth of sequins on the floor at this point. I'm sure they'll still be finding the stuff next year!

making Frankenstein Jello - are you seeing a sugar theme here?

I'm pretty sure my child was given more sugar in 1/2 a day than in his entire life. As we were leaving he started pulling candy out of his grocery bag-sized goody bag. I told him no way. He was not having any more junk. He leaned back in his seat and whined, "I want more junk!" Geez!

He had to go on the train ride - wheeeee!

May Farm

We had such a fun time at Maddie & Wyatt's birthday party last weekend. The weather was perfect and May Farm was a big hit! Noah loved dressing up as a farmer and hanging out with all the animals. His very favorite part though was the dog that played fetch with him.
Happy Birthday Friends!
