B is a fun letter with lots of possibilities. Here are a few of the activities I captured. I had so many more ideas, but not enough hours in the day!
B is for bowl, blueberries, blue yogurt, bear fruit snacks, berry juice, bananas, (cereal) bar, brown bear bread & (cheese) balls. Oh yeah, and BOY!

B is for Bookmark.
Noah had the idea to make bookmarks. On this day, he made one for his Papa.
B is for Binoculars, Blue, Baseball & Bat.
Noah used his binoculars to sort through capital Bs and Ds. He put all the Bs on his paper and also used foam baseball stickers to create two little scenes where one baseball player is hitting the ball, and the other is catching it. He came up with the idea, positioned the stickers where he wanted them and drew in the baseball players. I thought it was really cute!

Can't you see his little drawings?
B is for Bingo & Bears.
Teddy bears joined in the fun often this week.
B is for Big Lots, Boo Berry and Brownies.
We were driving down Buffalo Gap Road one afternoon looking for Bs. We happened upon Big Lots, so we decided to check it out. I've only been in this store twice since it opened, so Noah has never even been. It's not that exciting, but Noah did find some Boo Berry cereal and a brownie mix.

Noah mixing up the brownies (and stealing several licks!).

Our oven was not working that week, and the part Daddy ordered for it hadn't come in yet. Grandmommy and Granddaddy happily let us bake the brownies at their house.
Noah was happy to share.

Grandmommy and Noah taste-testing the brownies.

B is for Butterflies.
We have what we call a "butterfly tree" in our backyard. I don't know why it attracts them. It's an Arizona Ash, but this summer it's had butterflies all over it everyday. It's right outside the bay window in our kitchen, so we enjoy watching them from the kitchen table. Noah likes to try and catch them.
B is for Beads.Remember those tiny little beads that you make a design with and then iron them to melt them together? Well, I found a tub of big ones that are a great size for little ones, and Noah and I enjoyed making designs with these.
B is for Books in Bed!Noah LOVES LOVES LOVES for me to read him books. We cuddled up and read lots of books in bed this week (with our teddy bears of course!).
B is for Bible.Noah's favorite book is his Bible. We read from it every night, and he often "reads" through it on his own for long periods of time. He's done a great job using the bookmark we gave him along with it. It's the first book he ever needed one for, and he is always sure to mark his place and check that it doesn't fall out.
B is for Batman!I bought Noah a Batman mask and paired it with a cape he already had. Together with his Batcave and all his Batman accessories, they made for some fun playtime after lunch.

B is for Blockbuster.Batman and I ran errands together one afternoon, and I took him to Blockbuster to pick out several movies. He picked out a Caillou video, Mickey Mouse, Peter Pan & Scooby Doo. We never go to the video store to check out kid movies because we have plenty at home, so I let him splurge (plus it was actually cheaper to rent more than less - go figure!).

Batman was a hit with the store clerks. :) They thought he was pretty cute.
B is for Balloon.I didn't even plan this one, but Blockbuster gave Batman a balloon as we checked out.
B is for Bounce.Noah begs for me to take him to The Jump Around regularly, so I finally managed to get by there and them actually be open. They've really narrowed down their hours this summer. Anyway, he had great fun bouncing away some energy!
B is for Backpack.
I tracked down this cute dragon backpack after seeing a kindergarten student with it this past school year. I couldn't find it in Abilene at the time, but managed to locate one in Oklahoma when we visited Maya and Papa. Before we left for our family reunion one Saturday, I gave Noah his new dragon backpack and let him pack whatever toys he wanted to take with him in it.

Noah's snack for the road.
B is for Boardgames. We have a silent auction at each of our family reunions every year, and Grandmommy had taken a Toy Story Chutes & Ladders game with Noah in mind. Noah enjoyed "kicking my booty" in several rounds.
The huge basket and pile of "stuff" you see behind Noah is all the blocks, puzzles, paints, craft supplies and so much more that we "play" school with. Noah likes playing school and letting me be the teacher. I keep most of the "learning" or "skill" kinds of activities here so they're not strewn all over the house. Noah and I do them together often, and he grabs things off the shelf or out of the basket everyday to do independently at the table. I love our nook!
B is for Bears. I raided several activities from my classroom to bring home for Noah this summer. We made patterns with and sorted these bears.

B is for Bible (school).
Noah went to Vacation Bible School at New Hope this summer. I was excited to find out about it because our church doesn't do one. Noah went each morning this week and learned his Bible verse as well as several cute songs he loved belting out on the way home. It is so precious to hear my child talking about praising God and singing worship songs. Just this past Sunday at church, he told us he wanted to go "worship God for a little while and then I'll go to Sunday school." He meant he wanted to go sing worship songs with us in the service. Love it!

I liked the way that everyday at VBS in addition to the Bible stories/messages, they also focused on a charity and had the kids bring donations for it. Additionally, each day children were chosen to receive a "serving foot" for demonstrating Godly love towards others in their class. The teachers gave away only four "serving feet" each day. My super sweet boy earned 3 serving feet that week. I was so proud of him!
The picture above shows Noah on "crazy hat day" when he wore his shark hat.
B is for Birdhouse.Just like all kiddos, my boy enjoys painting. He painted this birdhouse to hang in our kitchen nook.

He's not naked you crazy man! He just doesn't have a shirt on. His pants and undies (of course!) are hiding behind the bowl. Now I'm sticking my tongue out at you!
Goodness, "B" week was a berry busy time for my big boy. Looks like everyone had a great time. Sorry, mom, summer is over and back to the grind of a room full of kidos and not just Noah. Love you guys. Tell daddy he is silly as well as crazy. Ok course, Noah does not cook or eat naked.
