We made it to Snyder over the summer for a family reunion on my mom's side. We saw family we haven't seen in years, and Noah made his own fun in the great rock pile out front.
This thing entertained him all day.

I haven't seen one of these in a long time!

Um, yes, that would be my husband. I don't know how he got like this.

My aunt had us playing this crazy panty hose game. I tried to put my pair on Noah, and he literally ran away from me and hid behind the table. I guess even at the age of 4 he realizes that boys should not wear pantyhose! In my opinion, neither should ladies. I hate those things. I haven't worn a pair since my days at American State Bank where we were required to wear them every single day. Things like that just ruin you.
Anyway, I ended up having to put on my own pair, but it was much funnier to check out the guys doing it. They had no idea!

Nice, dad!

even the grandmommies had to do it - oh well, she has years of experience

I can't believe Uncle Bryan went through with it. He must be mellowing out in his old age.

We got to visit Grandmother Dorthey while we were there. She was so sweet to try and show Noah how to play a song.

so sweet!

These windmills are popping up all over the place and have completely changed the view around Snyder. We were able to drive up to one and see just how big they are. I decided that a picture cannot capture the true size of these things. It was shocking to walk up right beside it and look up. They are incredibly huge.
