Noah's Big Boy Room

I'm sorry I'm just now getting pictures of Noah's new room posted. It was finished awhile ago, but I kept forgetting to take the pics.

Marco painted the mural on the wall to match the curtains, lampshape, bedding etc. that I bought from Target. He also painted a road all the way around the room, and we added car decals to it. It looks really good. Marco did a great job. The navy curtains were already in the room, I just sewed 8 valances onto the top to go with the room. I also purchased coordinating receiving blankets and cut them up in order to piece together a new changing pad cover. I was so excited when I found the street signs on Ebay, because they really complete the room. We love the change, and Noah does too. I thought we would have to battle Noah getting out of bed over and over again since he doesn't have bars to keep him in anymore, but we haven't. When he wakes up in the morning, he just hollers "I woke up" at us or "I want my mommy," and he waits for me to come in the room before he gets out of bed. At night, he stays in the bed even if he's still singing, talking, playing with his animals, etc. He doesn't get out of the bed. So, it's been a great transition, and Noah continues to show us what a wonderful little boy he is. We love him so much!
Noah is now 2 1/2 years old. In the past month and a half Noah has . . .

dropped the paci at bedtime

moved to a big boy bed

started using the potty and wearing underwear during the waking hours

He was just a baby yesterday.

Marco, the room looks fabulous, you did a great job. I know Noah loves it. It will take quite a few years to grow out of that room.

So talented. You should hire out.
