Check Out My Undies!

That's right! Noah is wearing underwear now. We've been working on potty training for several weeks now. He's done really well, but of course still wet in his diaper pretty often. His new teacher at St. James, Mrs. Jan, likes for the kids to go ahead and wear underwear in her class (while they're awake) instead of pull-ups. She thinks this really helps with their potty training, and she doesn't mind changing him however many times it takes. So, on Thursday, Noah wore underwear to school for the first time, and I took 3 changes of clothes for him just in case. He stayed dry all day long at school! I was SOOOO proud of him. So, since then, he's been wearing underwear while he's awake and a diaper while he's sleeping. He's only had one small accident each day, which I think is pretty darn good. Of course, this is still in the beginning stages, but I'm so proud of how well he is doing. He doesn't have any fears with using the potty, and he just holds himself up on the regular potty, so he won't have to transition from a little one or a potty seat later. Wow! What a big boy he is becoming!
