Labor Day Weekend

My parents, Marco, Noah and I all went together to visit Richard Wayland this past weekend. His birthday is next week, so we all took advantage of the three-day weekend in order to celebrate early. We had a wonderful time visiting, shopping and spending time with each other. Noah absolutely loves his Uncle Richard and had a great time playing with him. We only wish we could see him more often.

Each time Noah goes to the bathroom and actually "does something" he receives a sticker to put on his potty chart. I told him he could pick out a toy once he filled up the chart. While visiting Richard, Noah finished filling up his potty chart with stickers. He picked out this toy motorcycle as his prize.

Richard had to work on Saturday, so we ate dinner at his restaurant that night (Pappadeaux). Noah was so tuckered out after our long day, he actually fell asleep right before we got there and slept through the entire dinner (that never happens). We passed him around the table and took turns holding him. He is actually just as sweet as he looks. What a trooper he was this weekend! We did lots of shopping, and he was an angel.

Pictures are grrreat. We had such a wonderful time. God blessed us with such a wonderfully close family. I hate it that Richard is so far away from us. Maybe he will come back this way someday when he finishes school.

Noah was so cute talking about his potty chart. What a clever idea to use in his potty training. He is doing great.
