Treasure Hunting

Occasionally, Marco gets out his metal detector and takes Noah to go "treasure" hunting. They have found the weirdest stuff, and this day was no exception. Just in our driveway was a number of odd finds and things that left us asking, "what's that?". They haven't struck it rich or anything, but all these little finds certainly count as treasure in Noah's book.

Have you ever considered geocaching? Finding and leaving little treasures? I know there was a classmate of Bella's at the daycare whose parents enjoyed that sport and hid things in that area. Never had a GPS in the U.S. (by golly we sure got one here in Japan!). I can't imagine what double treasures you might find bringing the metal detector AND going geocaching!
