We went with Plan B for Noah's Halloween costume this year. He wanted to be a police officer, but when his costume came in it was 2 sizes too big, so he's all set for his 1st grade costume. Unfortunately, that did me no good this year, so we went with a monkey costume on sale at Old Navy. He's cute in anything, so it worked out.

Here's my cute little monkey at the Pioneer Drive BC Fall Festival at the May Farm petting zoo.

October was so crazy busy, we hadn't really had time to do any fall activities throughout the month. So, the evening before Halloween, I had time to breathe and looked over the pile of things I had accumulated to do with Noah for Halloween and decided to do it all the next day. I set out a cute little display of all the fun for Noah to find the next morning.
It included . . . carving a pumpkin, making ghost cupcakes and popcorn monster hands, reading one of our favorite books,
Five Little Pumpkins and doing a little art activity to go along with it, as well as checking out a new Halloween
I Spy book.

Noah loves the Five Little Pumpkins poem, and he really liked making his own five little pumpkins sitting on a gate.

We made popcorn monster hands and ghost cupcakes to take to family and friends that we visited for trick-or-treating that evening.

Noah was all about pulling the guts from our pumpkin. He even reminded me to save the seeds in order to roast them for Daddy.

Of course, it was pretty slimey!

My little monkey about to go trick-or-treating and make a delivery of his own at Grandmommy and Granddaddy's house

Grandmommy had a special treat for Noah - black Spiderman!
