Marco loves playing softball and has played and coached for years now. He also LOVED getting to watch and cheer for the Rangers during the World Series, so I decided to throw him a baseball birthday party. I originally had planned for it to be at the ballpark, and we would enjoy hitting the ball around while we were there. I had to come up with a Plan B the morning of though due to torrential downpour! It poured and poured and poured, and an evening at the ballpark was not going to happen. Plan B was formed, and we ended up at our home. Family and friends joined us for an enjoyable evening.

I made a few pennants starring Marco that added to the decor.

Ballpark food was served to coordinate with the baseball theme.

Take me out to the ballgame. Take me out with the crowd.

Buy me some peanuts

. . . and cracker jacks.

I don't care if I ever get back!

Oh, it's root, root, root for the home team! If they don't win it's a shame.

For it's one, two, three strikes you're out at the ol' ball game!

Apple pie and ice cream replaced the traditional birthday cake, and we sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" instead of the birthday song.

Get your peanuts! Cracker Jacks! Sunflower seeds!

I had the camera out at the beginning and end of the party and somehow didn't get pictures of any of the guests, but they were there! Lol! Thanks to everyone that came and enjoyed the evening with us. You didn't eat enough though, because we still have leftover corndogs and hot dogs in the freezer!

I made a few plates full of leftover goodies to give out at work. These could have been party favors.
