What Super Bowl?

We had a Super Bowl party tonight with our Life Group. I don't know if the Super Bowl was actually on or not though b/c I didn't see a single play. I was having a nice time visiting with friends. I think the guys might have been watching a football game or something. Anyway, it was nice to visit and laugh. We had some good conversations about boobs and gas. Our kids had fun playing together as always and there was lots of good food to keep us away from New Year's Resolutions.

We all donned our special 3-D glasses for the advertised "big event" after the 2nd quarter, but to our dismay it was no big event. Oh well, it was fun sporting our super cool glasses for awhile. Of course Noah has a perfectly legitimate question as some of the grown-ups were working to cut them all apart and get them ready. "Why are you making paper glasses?" Good question kid. I've never thought 3-D anything was all that impressive, but the thought is what counted. Thanks Nick!

Noah playing with Ranae and anyone else that will let him crawl in their lap. He has no problem just going up to people and getting in their lap and talking to them. In this case, he was impressed with a spikey hair-do.

Cutie-patootie Carson and his Aunt Reyna
Carson is a major cutie and such a cuddly thing. After carrying him to the car, I realized I really missed out on some good snuggling that night. I'll have to make up for it next time.

Bella, Noah and Maddie jumping on the bed in the "fun room" Brooke and Craig set up for them. Craig and Brooke always do a great job of helping the kids feel welcome.
