Kindergarten Cutie

Noah got to come up to my classroom today and play with the big kids for a little while at the end of the day. He LOVED it! He found himself a spot on the rainbow rug and enjoyed a cookie for a snack. He then quickly joined in the fun at the home center. He helped make a big mess, but he also helped clean it up. He already knows the clean-up song too. He felt like such a big kid getting his reward card and ticket at the end of the day like the other big kids. He lined up so nicely and did a great job of following directions. He did our little line check with us as we lined up at the door to leave, and honestly, (I'm SOOO not kidding either) he did a better job than many of my kindergartners. I can't believe Noah will be in kindergarten before I know it!

Cooking up some fun in the Home Center

Whooohooo! There's a train on my reward card!

Observe. Noah is sitting nicely on the rug, and well, you get the point.

just one of the boys

If you look closely at his right eye, you can see a nice shiner appearing. It didn't show up very well on the photograph, but in person it looked worse. When I picked him up at school today, I got a report that while he was playing he fell and hit a Little Tykes plastic table in just the right spot to produce a pretty good bruise on that bone. He didn't cry, but it looks like it would have hurt. Everyone that saw him today asked about it. Boys will be boys!

At first look you want to ask what the other kid looked like. Then you realize that the other kid looks ok because the other kid is a table that does not move. So sorry Noah. I look like it really hurt. Love You.

You better hang on to him. He is growing way too fast for me. He will in school long before you are ready.

How cute! I bet he will want to be a regular in your classroom now. I need to know all your teaching secrets before I get my own classroom. Like the cleaning song etc...the list goes on.
